CONDITIONS OF SALE

 

  1. This cat is sold as an indoor pet WITHOUT breeding rights.   If the cat is not already spayed/neutered at time of sale, the cat must be spayed/neutered by the age of 7 months. Registration will be sent to purchaser upon breeder receiving written proof of spay/neuter from a licensed veterinarian.

 

  1. This cat is being sold as a pet and cannot be entered in any cat shows without the  consent of the breeder.

 

  1. Purchaser agrees to keep this cat in a clean and pleasant environment, free of fungus and fleas, with the proper nutrition, health care and companionship necessary for its well-being. This cat is being fed Royal Canin cat food, Chicken soup for the Cat Lovers soul & food of similar quality, purchaser will provide cat with a food of the same quality. This cat should receive an annual booster one year from the last vaccine, and annually thereafter.

 

  1. The breeder agrees to replace the cat in the event the cat dies of a congenital defect within the first five years of life. A veterinarian autopsy/necropsy report must be provided to verify the cause of death of the cat.  The breeder reserves the right to choose the veterinarian who will perform the autopsy.  The breeder will replace the cat by a cat of the same quality at breeder’s earliest convenience.  Should the Purchaser not wish to receive another cat, the breeder shall have no other obligation towards the purchaser.  This clause will not be applied if the cat has received a Leukemia or FIP vaccine as these vaccines are controversial and their efficacy has not been  proven.

 

  1. At no time, will the breeder be responsible for veterinarian expenses incurred by the Purchaser.

 

  1. Under no circumstances will this cat be sold or given to any pet store, research laboratory or similar facility, including humane societies.  In the event the purchaser cannot keep this cat for any reason, it must first be offered back to the  breeder at no charge. If the breeder chooses not to reclaim this cat, it is then the responsibility of the purchaser to place the cat in a good pet home.

 

  1. Purchaser`s signature below indicates full understanding, agreement and approval of all of the terms and conditions contained in this sale agreement and acknowledges that this is a legally binding agreement which can only be altered by an amendment which is signed and executed by both parties.
